Premiere Dance Hillsborough (Premiere) Company dancers recently participated in their annual service project to provide care baskets and Valentine’s Day cards to cancer patients receiving treatment at the Hunterdon Medical Center. The dancers facilitated collecting donations of personal care items and other goodies and hand delivered 25 beautifully wrapped baskets to the patients on Valentine’s Day.
Premiere Dynamics Dance Company Director, Michelle Cunningham said, “Year after year the surprise and excitement on the patients’ faces is worth every second of being there. You can truly see how much they appreciate perfect strangers trying to brighten their day and offer encouragement and support, through their difficult time.”
Premiere’s Spirit Committee and senior dancers happily came together in support of this annual service project, one that is becoming a rewarding tradition that Premiere families look forward to each year.
Allie Nagy, Assistant Director of Marketing, said, “It’s truly such a gratifying experience. You don’t realize how something so simple can mean so much to someone. I love getting to witness the pure happiness of these patients as they receive the baskets from our dancers.”
